AP TOUR UPDATE TRES

We are just about done with the first month of the Alternative Press tour. Its flown by, I feel like Dallas, TX was last week! We are in St. Louis, MO right now surrounded by nothing but strip clubs and factories and Justin is nowhere to be found… haha just kidding he is right next to me. All the shows have been beyond amazing and we all couldn’t be happier with everyone’s response every night. We got to go to dennys the other night and cook a bunch of food and what not. It was too much fun, things got crazy. We also got to hang with a bunch of friends in Chicago and Milwaukee which was really great, we miss This Providence and Johnny! Tomorrow we are playing in Nashville, TN. I have never been there before and its our first show ever there. Word has it there is a skatepark at the venue so there is going to be a serious shred fest going down. Hopefully you all were able to get tickets for the shows coming up, I know only a few shows are left with tickets so if you plan on going, make sure you get your tix pronto!

AP Tour Update DOS

Hello dudes and dudets. This tour is amazing so far! Thank you all who have came out to the shows. I’ve never been on any tour like this. It is just one huge party every day. Today we are in Boise Idaho. I basically have been living off of pita and hummus. I think i am addicted. Tomorrow is our first day off of the tour and we are stoked! Just a movie/shopping day with the guys, we are going to go bonkers! We played a show last off day when the other bands got to go lazer tagging and go cart riding. We better top that. If anyone in Salt lake can show us a good time be sure to let us know! We are stoked to be on this tour. 44+ days of dancing, partying, barely sleeping, and playing shows with our best friends! I don’t know how we got so lucky. We made friends with the other bands the first day of tour. Come out and see how amazing these bands are! I hope to meet all of you at these future shows. AP Tour Update UNO

Supppppp?

We are now on day six of the 2009 Alternative Press tour. It has been unreal so far, all of the shows have been incredible. We started the tour out in Texas which we haven’t really played before but everyone made us feel so welcome. SXSW was one of the coolest things I have ever been to. I mean who wouldn’t love hundreds of free shows going on all day in every shop or bar on every street. We got to see Bring Me the Horizon which was xBRUTALx and Loren and I also got to check out Manchester Orchestra’s free show. We are in Vegas right now, about to go play some penny slots cause thats about as ris-que as I’m going to get. Hope to see you guys at the upcoming dates, its gonna be fun, I promise. Get ya tickets while you still can!

today is our last day in the studio… thats weird to say. we have been anticipating this whole thing for so long and to finally say that we are done is kind of surreal. its been such an amazing experience doing this record and im very very happy with how its come together. everyone has worked so hard on everything, im super proud to be a part of this band and to be able to work with justin, nick, and loren everyday. i can’t wait for all of you guys to hear the new songs and im even more excited to start playing them live. its going to be a very fun summer record that im sure you guys will love. its bittersweet for all of us to be done with the record and to be leaving LA. we have had such an amazing time here. ill definitely miss working and hanging out everyday with matt, travis, and larry. they have done so much for us and its impossible for me to put into words how truly grateful we are for them and their hard work. we have met some great people out here and we will miss everyone very much. but on the flip side, its an amazing feeling to be done with the album. now we get to start our next trek, the Alternative Press tour. we have been looking forward to this tour since November and now its finally here. i have a feeling it is going to be the best time of my life haha. i cant contain my excitement. i hope everyone can make it out to the shows and if you do, make sure you come say hello to us!
